My name is Iain and I'm an award winning student filmmaker with years of experience as a Producer and Writer in live production, documentaries, and narrative films. Some of my works have screened at film festivals across North America. I graduated from Sheridan College's Bachelor of Film and Television program in 2024."I grew up in Grimsby, Ontario, Canada, and I had lived there my whole life. After losing my mom to cancer the summer before my senior year in high school, I decided that I would follow my dreams, and try to make it into the film industry."
Playing Possum
Playing Possum is my second film endevaour working with Director Weldon Hovey. In this piece, a new college student deals with the trauma of losing his parents, all while navigating the ups and downs of college life.Estimated completion, February 2024.

Under the Light of the Harvest Moon is a dark, psychological thriller following the mysterious Malcolm, and the strange disappearance of his wife, Clara.Estimated completion, March 2024.
Apartment 17
Apartment 17 was my first real kick at the can at producing a narrative film. This project was spearheaded by myself and Director Weldon Hovey. We created this film during our 3rd year at Sheridan College in only 10 weeks. The still images speaks for themselves. The film followed Johnny Bells, a struggling writer who moves in next door to a Mafioso.
Shuvit
Shuvit was a passion project created by Director Kyleigh Brooks and myself. We made this short documentary during our 3rd year at Sheridan College. It focuses on queer female presenting skateboarders in the GTA, and the struggles they face as a marginalized community within a marginalized community.Festival Selections

OCAA Women's Volleyball Tournament
In my 3rd year at Sheridan College, I got the opportunity to produce and direct the OCAA Women's Volleyball Championship. It was an amazing experience, where I learned at lot about live production, and grew my passions for the medium.
The tournament was played from February 23rd-25th 2023
Sheridan Screen Arts Awards
I was given the opportunity to be the Technical Director and Switcher for the 2023 Sheridan Screen Arts Awards. Working under an industry professional, I was tasked with switching not only the live broadcast, but also the live projection on screen inside the award hall. It was a great experience, pushing me out of comfort zone and forcing me to level up my skills to switch two screens at once.
Sheridan BFTV Open House
Our Live TV Production class was given the opportunity to write, direct, and produced a streamed version of our open house for potential students who couldn't make it in person. It was a fantastic experience to see our faculty have so much faith in our abilities, and I think we delivered the quality expected of us.

I've been producing my own YouTube Gaming content for over 2 years now, since the start of 2023. During my time making content, I've learned a lot about editing, scriptwriting, video recording, audio recording, and the SEO side of Social media.
